Manchester Bar Photographer at Freight Island’s Milano Bar

As an experienced Manchester bar photographer, I recently worked with Freight Island to create a fresh collection of cocktail photography for Milano Bar and its Thursday drinks promotion.
The brief was to showcase cocktails available for just £5 every Thursday. Although the offer represents excellent value, the photographs still needed to make every drink look premium. My job was to capture the colours, textures, garnishes and personality of the cocktails while retaining the lively character of Freight Island.
Cocktail photography that attracts customers
Photographing cocktails involves much more than placing a drink in front of the camera. Ice melts, condensation changes and garnishes quickly lose their freshness. Reflections across the glassware must also be carefully controlled.
Using professional lighting and creative composition, I produced bold, colourful photographs designed to stop people scrolling. Every image was created around the distinctive atmosphere of Milano Bar and the energy of the wider Freight Island venue.
The finished photography provides the marketing team with a versatile collection of professional content for social media, menus, websites, digital advertising and future drinks promotions.
