Carl Cox Motorsport Photographer: Porsche GT4 RS Shoot for the 2026 British Hill Climb Season

When it comes to high-impact automotive imagery, creating photographs that capture both the engineering and emotion behind a performance car is everything. Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph a stunning Porsche GT4 RS wearing the unmistakable new livery for the 2026 British Hill Climb Championship season in collaboration with Carl Cox Motorsport.

The shoot featured driver Richard Andrews alongside Catherine James, who will also be competing during the 2026 hill climb season, including events at the iconic Harewood Hill Climb Championship.

A Commercial Automotive Shoot with Editorial Energy

Captured outside the Stoneacre head office in Doncaster just before sunset, the goal of this session was to create dramatic, premium-level imagery that felt more like an editorial campaign than standard vehicle photography. Using carefully positioned studio lighting combined with the fading natural evening light, I was able to sculpt the lines of the Porsche GT4 RS and emphasise the aggressive styling of the new Carl Cox Motorsport livery.

A Documentary Approach to Event Photography in London

At the Emerald Theatre, this meant working fluidly between the performances, audience interactions, and the subtle details that often go unnoticed. The way the light fell across the stage, the expressions in the crowd, the connection between artist and audience, these are the elements that elevate an event from memorable to meaningful.
